For Spring/Summer 2016 Christian Louboutin invites us to a dinner date where all heights are welcome, no swipes right required. Keeping things on the low-low, kitten heels, sneakers and flats, take their seats for a dinner soiree with the occasional flirtatious leg graze. “Garçon…we’ll take another round, s’il vous plaît!’’

This season’s rule breakers keep a low profile, but don’t underestimate the mischievous nature of lady-like Olydia who kicks up her patent Pavot strappy sandals on the table, exposing a 70 heel for all to see. Meanwhile, O Novt flat grabs attention with entwined white and gold straps that form a turban top knot.

Sauntering past the table in all seven shades of this season’s new Nudes and two tropical Hawaii Kawai prints is this season’s new dance flat, Solasofia. Donning a ballet-inspired body and classically Parisian bow at the toe-box, Solasofia leads Electric Neon soled Millaclou Flat and Shocking Pink Rivierina Flat to their table.

Edgy Baila Spike Flat and Bikee Bike play a little game of footsies under the table, their spikes and studs joining in a tête-à-tête. Equally devious is the tattoo clad Naza Mom and Dad sneaker flaunting a freshly embroidered Christian Louboutin crest.

Sweet and salty Mix Flat with Popcorne spikes atop veau velour satisfies the palate, while Carmel CA espadrille in Noisette Abricot delves into the dessert menu. The sensual Iriza is fashionably late, making an appearance for the first time in a 70 heel height. Party crashers Gondoliere Flat in a sporty neon Electro weave and Pik Boat say, “don’t mind if I do” to another glass of champagne.

Watch the Spring/Summer 2016 collection work up an appetite in our new film “Under the Table,” directed by Parisian duo, Mathilde Toulot, journalist, art director and founder of website SHOOOOES and Olivia da Costa, photographer and publisher of PLEASE! Magazine, and explore styles of every heel height, from flats to 130s, on ChristianLouboutin.com
